Akshay Kumar,a married man, is a very hard working guy, who entertain us more then anyone even close to him. He has always accepted and taken all kinds of work, and the previous year was the one that lifted him from the star to the superstar. In 2007, he had more movies, and more hits then any superstar including King Khan, and Hrithik Roshan. Unlike Sharukh Khan, Akshay is much closer to its fans, due to his visits in advertising some of the biggest and most entertaining movie ever on Television such as, Heyy Babyy, Phir Hera Pheri, and recently came out Welcome. Akshay has always been critisized and always has been seen as the baby of the premier Khans. Salman, Aamir, and especially Shah Rukh Khan has always been loved, made more money, had more fame, and name globally then Akshay Kumar. But Akshay never let down and kept his composure as high as possible which has enabled him to achieve the image he is very well deserving of now. His hardwork is the luckiest thing he has, Hrithik's marriage, Sharukh's never ending vacations, Sulman's legal issues, and Amir's desire to do everything by himself has lead Akshay to easily find jobs, and the more jobs he got the more hits he made, as Fans could not wait any longer to see their biggest stars, and this all and much more are the biggest components that has been aside him toward superstar goal. In 2008 his year was a mixed bag inckuding super hit like Singh is King and flop like Tashan.But the question remains, Is He the biggest superstar.
Hrithik Roshan, a family man, he has rejected eleven movies since now just because he respects and loves his family and admires the hardwork of his dad, Rakesh Roshan. Hrithik Roshan, unlike Akshay, has never had to work as hard and never had to battle through other people's fame, in fact their was a time where people called him the " Legend Killer". He almost killed Sharukh Khan's glorious legend and fame by apperaring in just his first movie, taking away a whopping of a total of hundred and one awards for his movie " Kaho Na Pyaar Hai" compared to Mohabtein of Sharukh Khan. Many of Sharukh's Fans criticized Hrithik and his dad for doing something illegal to win so many awards for a new and unknown artist. But Hrithik as mature as always, declined to be on screen for the next two months, this left the fans making controversies, and kept them analyzing and thinking of the name Hrithik instead of Sharukh Khan, which eventually made many fans switch their bandwagons. After that Hrithik came in many hits, and every hit was making Bollywood as global as possible, due to so many fans of Hrithik outside of India and Pakistan. A girl once said,"whoever works with Hrithik is improved and has an established career ahead", her name was Kareena Kapoor. Hrithik then left for a long vacation after his marriage, leaving many fans hungry for more, which is one of the main reasons to Akshay and many young artists like Shahid Kapoor and Abishek Bachan's success. Hrithik comes back, and this time he comes like the super hero of India. His come back and his movie, "Krrish", made him the most popular bollywood superstar, it wouldn't be late when Shilpa Shetty would steal Hrithik's gloabal fame due to her win in Big Brother. Hrithik again left his fans after almost a whole year in his new and most recent movie called, " Jodhaa Akbar" with stunning Ashwariya Rai.his much awaited movie KITES has been sold to a record 110 million ,but The question remains, is he the biggest superstar in India.
And then their is Sharukh Khan Khan, the ultimate and supreme king, who has ruled Bollywood since the start of his career. He has been in every kind of movie and every role possible, from Don to Son to an awesome Romantic actor to thrillers to fear to imagination and to Don again. He has done it all, but many obstacles tried in preventing Shahrukh Khan's success. SRK didn't had the helf Sulman's family provided for him, he didn't had age with him, he didn't had a father helping him and spending money marvelously Like Hrithik Roshan. He has maintained and established him self from no one to a guy who gets paid about a crore per visit to a show.Sharukh Khan became popular because of his brilliant performance of playing a villian's role in his first movie, he soon got many offers which he accepted and was becoming another big celebrity with Sulman and Amir Khan. After "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" and "DDLJ" his fan polling and his status, his demand for movies, his demand for visits, his charity programs, his posters, and his movies, all went a much much higher level. He worked in many more movies with the Chopras and the Yash Raj industries, because of Sharukh's fame, Yash Raj established his industry called, "Yash Raj Movies", he sold movies outside of India and Pakistan and this led to the whole Bollywood's success, because it enabled Yash Raj to make unique movies, present new graphics, and this all could not happen without the necessary money it requires, the money came mainly from SRK's movies. This helped the whole bollywood and soon competition increased and new directors made highlights with, Devdas and Black, Bollywood's success made businessman's come into this field of making and directing movies, such as, the Bhatt's. Then in the new century SRK's vacation, Hrithik's fame, and Akshay's rise all declined and made SRK's image a little shivvery and hesitant. He came out of that with Devdas, and in my opinion Devdas and Sanjay Leela Bansani saved SRK's career. Soon he started hosting some of the biggest shows and was seen in another great hit, called Kal Ho na Ho, then he did many movies with Rani Mukherjee and Preety Zinta, and after "DON" he has the urge to ask a whopping one crore for simply a visit to some show televised by TV Asia. His most recent success was "Om Shanti Om" in which he had the pleasure to work with nearly nienty stars, the movie was a huge success and yet again SRK made someone's carreer in Deepika Padukone. In my mind, because SRK has been through almost everyone, and has been critisized a lot, I think SRK is the ultimate champion and indefinately the biggest superstar and icon of India and Bollywood.
